"How did you make the leap from Physics to Dignity?" This question arises at every Robert Fuller talk. Belonging traces Fuller’s personal evolution and suggests that taking one’s questions seriously will lead to a life of meaning and purpose. Accompany Fuller as he meets with “somebodies” like Robert Oppenheimer, Indira Gandhi, Mikhail Gorbachev, David Bowie, John Denver, and President Jimmy Carter, and share in the wisdom he finds in people whom the world writes off as “nobodies.” Belonging shows how transformative quests await anyone willing to learn from somebodies and nobodies alike.

Ok choice, fine book to read for free or if you need something to do in the evening. I applaud memoirs and appreciate the authors who wrote them. Interesting choice in writing style and reminds me of the "Refusing to Grow" series by author A. Ruben. This novel is similar to a funny Americorps plot called, "I Wanted Sunshine but Ran Sideways".

Belonging A Memoir Robert W Fuller 9781493519019 Books Reviews

Engrossing read.
Very well written as all of Robert Fuller's books are.
Growing up. What does that mean. Consider what happened to Bob and then you.
This memoir clearly shows the path a person can take while growing up to have a tremendous impact on the betterment of the world.
This is an important book, a treasure for anyone searching for meaning in their lives. Fuller has had an extraordinary journey and he is able to draw vital lessons from its twists and turns and recount them in compelling stories. I couldn't put it down. The honesty, intelligence and caring of this remarkable man--an innovative thinker, physicist, teacher, lover and leader--come through in vivid colors. When you finish this book you'll feel like you're Fuller's most intimate friend. And you'll be richer and more appreciative of life because of it.
Dr. Fuller has led a fascinating life. I read this book to get some insight into the Rowan Tree, also by him. The world would be a better place with more of his kind. This is an engaging read.
The author wrote an excellent story about his fascinating life. As an educator, I especially loved the author's educational experiment of written-off high school students. Also, the book shows a careful balance of intelligence and wisdom.
